The Storyteller's Handbook Exhibition
Explore 52 exquisite worlds by illustrator Elise Hurst, created for her new book THE STORYTELLER’S HANDBOOK. In an interactive approach to storytelling, each image exists to draw a unique narrative from the viewer. Delve beneath oceans, soar through the sky and discover the strangeness of all places in between. Created in pen and ink, with watercolour accents, these timeless and beautiful scenes are for all ages.
In an exhibition in November 2022, at The No Vacancy Gallery in Melbourne, these works were complemented with a selection of oil paintings which draw from the worlds in the book, and visitors were invited to contribute their own storytelling ideas in an interactive display. Limited edition giclee prints are now available for many illustrations in the book (either in-stock or by order).
